After My Loan Has Closed
-
I have no idea when my first payment is due. Where can I find that information?
You can find this information in the closing documents you received from the title company in a couple of places within that packet. The first payment date is referenced on the following documents:
- First Payment Letter
- Temporary Payment Coupons
Note: If you do not have your closing documents, please e-mail mortgageservicing@gulfbank.com with your name and the property address and we will research this information for you.

My first payment will be due soon, and I have not received a coupon or statement advising me where to send my payment. What do I do?
In every closing package, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company includes two temporary payment coupons to use. Look in the closing package you received from the title company. If you have not received a letter from us in the mail, notifying you that the servicing of your loan has been transferred to a new lender, please contact mortgageservicing@gulfbank.com.
-
I cannot locate the temporary coupons in my closing package. Whom can I contact for a duplicate?
If you are unable to locate your coupons, please e-mail your request to mortgageservicing@gulfbank.com with your name and the property address.

I received a letter in the mail that the servicing of my mortgage has been transferred and now I am confused as to where I should send my payment. Whom can I speak to for clarification?
Not only is Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company required by law to send what is called a “goodbye letter” when the servicing of your loan transfers, the new lender is required to send a “welcome letter”. Both letters outline similar information, if you read them carefully – it states when your last payment to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company will be made and when your first payment is due to the new servicer. If you are still unsure where to send a payment, please send your inquiry to mortgageservicing@gulfbank.com (Preferred Method) or call 844.643.1714 and speak with one of our representatives.
-
I already sent my payment to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company, but then I realized it was supposed to go to the new servicer. What do I do?
Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company will automatically forward it to the new lender. If you have any questions, please call us at 844.643.1714
-
I accidentally sent a payment to the new servicer that was supposed to go to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company. What do I do?
The new servicer will not automatically return those funds to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company. Those funds will be applied to the next payment that is due according to THEIR records.
There are two options:
1) You can leave the funds with the new lender (which means you will not owe them anything for the upcoming month, but it’s always a good idea to call them to confirm) and issue another check to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company for the current payment or;
2) Contact mortgageservicing@gulfbank.com who will issue a formal request to the new lender to have those funds delivered back to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company and apply it to your loan.

My taxes and/or homeowner’s insurance are due for renewal and I need to know where to send a copy of the bill for it to be paid from my escrow account.
Please e-mail your name and the property address to mortgageservicing@gulfbank.com. We will research and reply with instructions of where to send your bill.
-
Can I make my payment online to Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company?
No, since we are an interim servicer, we cannot accept payments on line, but you can mail payment or drop off a payment at any of our retail branch locations.
-
If I previously had a construction loan with Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company, why can’t you just draft my payment?
Once your construction loan was closed out, the account was also closed and we do not have the ability to directly draft payments from any of your Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Accounts.
