Auction in August- INTRO

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2022 Auctions in August such a huge success! Since its inception in 2008, Auctions in August has raised $1,397,700 for hundreds of nonprofits. On behalf of our staff and the nonprofits who were supported through this event, we are so grateful to everyone who donated items, bid on items, and won. 

Auctions in August is a month-long online auction Gulf Coast Bank hosts & facilitates, beginning August 1st and ending August 31st. People who donate items to be auctioned off (gift certificates, unique gifts, priceless items, etc.) also choose which 501c3 receives the money from the winning bid of that item. The auction is open to everyone: bank employees, customers, and the general public. 

This year our donors will fill out their donation forms online, and once submitted, they can bring their auction items to our Auction Center at 1817 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70005, a centralized location where we will house and process all items. We will begin accepting items soon at our Auction Center, and all items must be dropped off and forms submitted by no later than July 28, 2023.

PLEASE NOTE: Tangible item(s) must meet a minimum or combined value of $100. Intangible items (i.e. vacation rentals, business services, gift cards, etc.) must be valued at $50 or higher.

All items will be posted on AUCTIONSINAUGUST.COM for the entire month of August, and the auction will be widely publicized to draw as much support for nonprofits as we can.
