How Can You Help Ukraine?
March 7, 2022

If you are looking for ways help the people of Ukraine, here a few:
Consider booking an AirBnB rental in the worn-torn country in places such as Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, or Mariupol. People have begun booking the short-term rentals and then donating them as a way to provide aid directly to those who need assistance.
From a recent Washington Post article: "On Wednesday and Thursday, more than 61,000 nights were booked in Ukraine from people around the world, according to an Airbnb spokesman, who added that the total booking value was nearly $2 million.
The company late last week waived all guest and host fees on bookings in Ukraine and said that operations in Russia and Belarus were suspended. Last Monday, Airbnb announced it was offering 'free, short-term housing to up to 100,000 refugees fleeing Ukraine,' according to a news release." See full story in the Washington Post
Another idea is to donate funds to International Mission Board. "Through Send Relief, IMB personnel and their local partners are actively ministering to Ukrainians escaping the escalating war," and most importantly, 100% of your gift is used to provide emergency supplies.
