Amanda earned both a Bachelors of Science Degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration from Southeastern Louis
iana University in Hammond, La. She began her career as a mortgage loan originator in 2004 with an office inside a well-established real estate company. In 2007, she transitioned to local banking where she helped develop the mortgage division and became a top producer.

Currently, a mortgage loan originator with Gulf Coast Bank and Trust Company she continues her success and dedication. She is knowledgeable on the financial markets and prides herself in being an expert on FHA, VA, and USDA Rural Development loan programs. Amanda provides professional one on one attention and detailed updates throughout every step of the loan process from application to close.

Shantal Andersen has been in the banking world since 2010. In banking, she was eager to learn and quickly promoted through the channels. She eventually found her home on the mortgage team in September of 2019. Since then, she survived and thrived in the fast-paced environment that brought us through the mortgage world in the middle of the pandemic.

Shantal is responsible for reviewing all documentation as it comes in, assisting with following up with the borrower and submitting the file to processing. She has a vast growing knowledge of the mortgage process and the documentation needed to make your loan close smoothly. Shantal’s knowledge of the banking system and attention to detail keeps your file moving rapidly. She is encouraging to everyone involved and pushes to get your loan to the closing table.

Shantal Andersen is a native of Tangipahoa parish and she currently resides in Husser, LA. She is a dedicated wife and mother of three beautiful children. When she is not building mortgage files, she is busy keeping up with her children’s growing lives and her beloved dog, Clyde.
