    WE hang money out to dry, but not our clients.

    Following Hurricane Katrina, a handful of our team members took the extraordinary steps to physically hand-wash cash from flooded vaults and safety deposit boxes. The weather-worn bills were then hung out to dry in order to save them. 

    We believe our culture starts with leadership and our leaders will be the first to tell you that every decision, large or small, should be made based on what’s best for the client. Our clients include people who bank with us, our colleagues, and our communities and we are constantly striving to be above-and-beyond servant leaders to all.

    We do what’s right for our clients and we look for ways to go above and beyond even if it’s hard or a little muddy.

    From team members donating sick time to colleagues in need, to offering extra personal days to team members serving their communities following natural disasters, to our bank president personally preparing and delivering meals to our essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone at this organization has been a part of rallying around a worthy cause. 

    We raised more than $1 million for over 100 nonprofits through our annual Auctions in August fundraiser. Although our teams are distinct in service lines and geography, we are connected in our desire to be helpers. You won’t find a more altruistic and selfless Krewe of Teams.

    We are problem solvers not problem spotters. We take ownership and find a better way when things go wrong, or when we simply notice that things could be better. We don’t ignore issues for someone else to have to handle. 

    We have a committee dedicated to evaluating innovation opportunities and we reward employees who “Poke the Pig,” making innovative suggestions. We encourage questions, suggestions, and respectful debate, and we answer questions by starting with why.
