One-Time Debit Transaction Opt In: What You Need To Know
Review this page to learn everything you need to know about overdraft and overdraft fees.
What You Need To Know About Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway. Gulf Coast Bank also offers the below overdraft services.
We offer a standard overdraft practice that is available with your account called Discretionary Overdraft Privilege. You may choose to participate in this plan if you meet the qualifications. To learn more, ask us about this plan.
We also offer overdraft protection plans, such as a link to a automatic transfer from a savings or money market, which may be less expensive than our standard plan. To learn more, ask us about this plan.
If you would like to revoke a previous opt in election, please complete our overdraft privilege election form.
